Brian is the co-founder and Managing Principal of ICAP Development. His focus includes client relations and build-to-suit developments. Since founding ICAP in 2012, Brian has completed build-to-suit developments for national and local businesses: Walgreen Co., Aldi, Inc., La Z Boy Corp., Xperience Fitness LLC, Bubon Orthodontics LL, Learning Care Group, Inc., and Jo-Ann Fabrics LLC. In addition to ground-up development, Brian has successfully acquired retail and multi-family assets throughout the Midwest. All are now part of ICAP’s diverse portfolio of investments.
Before founding ICAP, Brian was a development partner at TOLD Development Company. He led the development of three regional power centers in Wisconsin, totaling over 1.2M square feet. Brian started his career as a Development Manager at Kohl’s Department Stores, where he developed retail projects in Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Washington, and Oregon.
Brian’s experience as both a corporate tenant and a ground-up developer gives him a unique understanding of a tenant’s internal process and the needs of real estate by corporate users.
