Dan has been in the commercial real estate industry since 2002. His opportunistic approach to commercial real estate includes acquiring, developing, or repositioning assets that are underutilized from a tenancy, building, management, and/or leasing perspective. Target assets include retail, industrial, medical office, and multi-family buildings. Dan takes a very hands-on approach and is actively involved in the acquisition process. This includes investment analysis, contract negotiations, due diligence, financing, partnership structuring, and closing. Dan’s experience and financial knowledge have been instrumental in structuring sale-leasebacks, build-to-suits, and joint venture opportunities.
Before joining ICAP, Dan was the Vice President of Acquisitions at Outlook Development Group in Franklin, WI, for almost eight years. He was also a member of the Acquisitions team at Vision Realty Partners in Deerfield, IL, for five years. He started his career as a Credit Analyst at First Midwest Bank in Highland Park, IL.
